The Role
We’re seeking a Technical Finance Manager (Chief Accountant) to provide strong leadership for our already high-performing technical accountancy team. As Chief Accountant, you will coordinate the statement of accounts cycle, support budget setting and lead the capital budget monitoring process. As the Council’s technical finance expert, you will lead on all matters such as VAT, tax and treasury management, providing sound advice to the senior leadership team, our politicians and key stakeholders.
